Visit Monserrate:
The “Cerro
de Monserrate” is the symbol of Bogotá.
Located 3,152 meters above sea level,
its top houses the Shrine of the Fallen Lord pilgrimage, site of national and
foreign people, surrounded by lush vegetation and which affords the best Bogota
savanna landscape.
People
usually go at Easter and in December, but it’s a place that is open the whole
year.
If you go
there, remember that you have 3 options: on foot, by funicular and cable car,
from 4 :00a.m. to 1:00 p.m., although special seasons like in December has night time.
If you go
on foot, don’t forget that it is important to use only the established path. Do
not take alternate paths because of the risk of lost or have an accident, also you must hydrate very well. Do not go barefoot and wear solar protector.

20th of July Parade:
Every year, the 20th of July is celebrated the independence
day of Colombia.

Most families used to go to the parade to appreciate all the power of
men and women who make part of the Armed Forces of Colombia. Nowadays you can
watch this spectacular parade by all the national channels on T.V.

If you're travelling to Bogota, you don’t need any special vaccination, however during the rainy season some respiratory diseases are very common, and it's recommended to get an influenza vaccine before you travel.
Bogota is located 2600 meters above sea level, this geographical condition causes some people to suffer due to a lack of oxygen. If you suffer from this it is recommended that you consult with your physician prior to travel.
Check the ingredients of the food if you suffer from allergies. The cuisine in the city has a lot of variety and uses many different kinds of ingredients.

If you're
going to mobilize in the city is recommended that you do it with someone who
knows the city to prevent loss and confusion. It could be really useful because

big city with many places to visit, so you should use comfortable sneakers.

Where is Bogota?
Bogota is the capital city of Colombia, a South American country located in the north west part of the subcontinent.
